Depending on how long you've been around computers (or just plain "been around" ;-) you may remember Word Star, WordPerfect or the Amstrad PCW. If you've ever fought with Microsoft Word over auto-correction, mangled layouts, style tags that won't stay put or if you just hate the paperclip idiocy, you might like Writeroom.
