I'm looking for a program that I have used in the past to draw maps that included the approximate position of passing spacecraft. xearth isn't that program, but it produces a nice clean globe that I can mark points on. Sadly the built-in markers don't work if you write the image to a file, but I suppose I could render to a window and then capture that using the GIMP.
